Leased Ligne router configuration

Hello,

We are using a leased line between too citys

i have a router connected to a juniper firewall

and i need to configure this router to act as bridge

i aleardy configure routers to act as bridge but for an adsl line

i need to do the same for a leased line

can any one help me

Hello,

Assuming that you want to bridge the Fa0/0 and Fa0/1 together on your router, the configuration shall be fairly simple:

bridge irb
bridge 1 route ip
bridge 1 protocol ieee
!
interface Fa0/0
 bridge-group 1
!
interface Fa0/1
 bridge-group 1
!

The question is - do you really need to configure the router as a bridge? If it only bridges two FastEthernet interfaces together without performing any other function then you probably do not need the router at all. What other services does this router provide?
