What you could use is a traffic generator tool. Some are free. Some often have a receiver function, that can provide you addition information, i.e. what happened during the data transfer test. However, even simple traffic generators might be used to flood a link at a certain rate, e.g. if I send 1 Mbps into one end of the link, does 1 Mbps come out the outer side?
BTW, don't forget the impact of these tools on concurrent traffic, as filling a link to full capacity will often be detrimental to other traffic. Also, if there's other traffic, don't forget to include its bandwidth consumption to confirm actual path bandwidth.
