MAC ADDRESS ERROR

Hi,

I am getting following error when i configure isis on XR device.How to fix please help

Hello Pramod,

post the router isis config

RP/0/5/CPU0:Jul 9 21:46:06.828 : netio[294]: %ROUTING-CLNS-3-ETHERENCAP : Incorrect MAC address length 0

it looks like it is not able to correctly encapsulate the IS-IS PDU on an ethernet frame.

To be noted also that if you are trying to run IS-IS on a management interface this can be part of the problem you shouldn't use it to route user traffic but only for management
