I have configured an E1 controller on a 2801 router. I want to call to a PSTN telephone. I can call, but the weird thing is, that the phone only rings ones. After that the connection is disconnected.
Further is it not possible to call from the same PSTN phone to the phone connected to the router.
There are also some ATA boxes connected to the router, but they do not work either.
Here is a piece of the running-configuration:

Existing router platforms (earlier than Cisco 1800, Cisco 2800, and Cisco3800) contain a limitation. In some situations, such as when you insert WIC(s) out of order, the configuration of one WIC interface can be lost or applied to another WIC interface.
