I have a CRS-8/S-B. We have getting the log message:

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Hostname#show logg | inc %MEDIA-NVRAM_PLATFORM-3-BATTERY_LOW

LC/0/0/CPU0:Aug 19 17:52:05.027 : nvram[66]: %MEDIA-NVRAM_PLATFORM-3-BATTERY_LOW : NVRAM low battery detected, battery needs to be replaced 
LC/0/0/CPU0:Aug 20 17:52:05.207 : nvram[66]: %MEDIA-NVRAM_PLATFORM-3-BATTERY_LOW : NVRAM low battery detected, battery needs to be replaced 
LC/0/0/CPU0:6: nvram[66]: %MEDIA-NVRAM_PLATFORM-3-BATTERY_LOW : NVRAM low battery detected, battery needs to be replaced 
LC/0/0/CPU0:Aug 22 09:12:36.829 : nvram[66]: %MEDIA-NVRAM_PLATFORM-3-BATTERY_LOW : NVRAM low battery detected, battery needs to be replaced

Thank you, had already consulted this document. I need to know where it is located this battery? I changed the PLIM "4-10GBE-WL-XFP," but the messages reoccurred.

Resolved 

"As far as I know, the only possible thing to do in these cases is to replace the FP with the low battery, we don’t have a FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) for the battery. From the show tech I see that it is a CRS-FP40"
