I have an older 7206 with 64 mg RAM and I am trying to find an IOS that will support Multi-link Frame Relay ( I want to bind two FR links for a 3 mb pipe). Does anyone know an IOS that will support MFR with this much memory?
thanks in advance.

Hi,
There isn't a single IOS release for the 7206 that will support MFR with less than 128Mb DRAM.
The only option you have is to upgrade the memory, I'm afraid.
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

You need atleast 128mb DRAM to run MFR.
However, you can run MLPPP- Multilink PPP over Frame Relay. You are very lucky, there's just one image out there that only requires 64 MB DRAM. The IOS is c7200-is-mz.12.1-14.E9.
MLPPP over Frame requires a little extra configuration. Hey, what matters is you can do multilink across frame realy without upgrading the hardware.
Here's a link that shows How to Configure Multilink PPP over Frame Relay:
Let me know if it helped.
