I have recently aquired 2 old routers (2501/2503) for my CCNP lab and shall soon upgrade them both to 16MB flash/ram.
Does anyone know what are the minimum requirments to run IOS 12.3/12.4?

Hi Martin,
AFAIK 2500 series router does maximum support 12.3 but does not support 12.4 release.
And the minimum flash and dram requires for them is (16/12) and the name of the image is c2500-i-l.12.3-1 so if you are planning to upgrade to 16 MB for both it will be ok but this is the requirment for minimum release on 12.3 train with very basic feature set which is only IP feature.
But if you are planning to have the latest release in 12.3 train (c2500-is-l.12.3-18 ) and with ip plus feature you need minimum 16 MB for both DRAM and FLASH so it is better to go for 16 MB of flash and dram and what you have planned is right.
