Hello I have a cisco 6509:

I have 9 slot full with different card types and these supervisor.
NAME: "5", DESCR: "WS-SUP720-3B 2 ports Supervisor Engine 720 Rev. 5.6"
PID: WS-SUP720-3B , VID: V05, SN: SAL1221RC9R
NAME: "msfc sub-module of 5", DESCR: "WS-SUP720 MSFC3 Daughterboard Rev. 3.1"
PID: WS-SUP720 , VID: , SN: SAL1221R8UX
I have a second chassis which is identical to the first one.
I would like to configure the two chassis to be managed as one virtual entity using VSS.
May I do it independently from the type of cards I have installed in the slots ?
May it be possible to support a VSS configuration upgrading just the SUP engines ?
is VS-S720-10G-3C= compatible with VSS ?
what else I would need to change in the hardware for being VSS compliant ?
thank you
Rick
