                   Hello Tech Guru's

I have reviewed other threads, sought advice from data sheets, googled google to death with no joy to my question. Furthermore I understand the router is a new model and data may still be in a processing stage for releasing these figures - hence I use the word predicted.

However after reviewing all this information,  I attempt to post the question and hopefully receive something back to satisfy our maintanence team  in order for us to calculate antipated support pricing for our client. We have a MTBF calculator internally we use when integrating products together and from this we roughly anticipate what are return to site frequency will be, with no MTBF figure for the Cisco hardware yet published I am left to do a best guess perhaps using 2800 series data or a finger in the air.... :-)

With the below three standard routers, no installed extra's such as PVDM3, WAN interface cards, upgraded RAM, increase Flash card capacity...

Can you tell me anything that would better my predicted MTBF figures -

Cisco 2901 - SEC/K9

Cisco 2911 - SEC/K9

Cisco 3945 - SEC/K9

Any guidance is appreciated, I am not holding you to this hence (PREDICTED)

Kind Regards,

Aaron

This doc claims the ISR G2 routers MTBF is 300,000 hours and expected usefull life 5-6 years. I have heard router modules are designed for twice the MTBF of the typical router.
