multicast groups

while reading a multicast case study I read one of the requirement that should be asked is  :

" how many groups are required while configuring multicast in network " 

what should i imply with this statement ?

Unsure, although in general there is a finite supply of multicast addresses and there are considerations when using them like how they overlap when running on Ethernet or how you should use them for scoping how far they might transverse across your network topology.
