Hi,I have a issue about multicast over NBMA architecture of frame-relay. I configure one of spoke as rp to annouce the group information. But I can't see the ip pim rp information in hub router and other spoke routers. I use the spares mode and enable multicast routing

in all routers. Who can help me to troubleshoot the issue??Strange

Thanks a lot

Make sure you enable pim for nbma networks with the 'ip pim nbma-mode' command.

Are you using point-to-multipoint interface on your hub? As far as I know an inbound multicast packet will not be forwarded out to the same interface. Building GRE tunnels between spokes may be a workaround for this issue.

Auto-RP requires 'sparse-dense-mode' from what I've read. And you've configured 'ip pim send-rp-announce'? Post your config if you still have a problem.
