Multicast video using mGRE NHRP?

Hi,

I noticed that when had I two sites request a 13 Mb video multicast stream from a third site via mGRE NHRP, the third site has to send two streams, thus over utilizing the 20Mb circuit and causing QoS policy drops.  Does this sound right?  The mGRE is built over a provider VPLS service.  Seems like this might be normal yet undesirable behavior.

I guess the router that sends the two streams is the DR (designated router) for the multicast within the mGRE

check if you can assign the DR more efficiently.

I actually noticed last week that the DR was a backup router at the site (that doesn't do multicast out it's circuit).  I have moved the DR priority to the mGRE router and will retest once our circuit comes back up after provider testing for a separate issue.
