Hi,
I have an 857 given to me by my ISP and I want to replace with an existing ADSL modem that is working as a bridge. I have a netscreen that does nat/firewall and other functions so I want the 857 to work just as a bridge.
How do I configure the 857 to do that? I have tried to follow the steps in this doco http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_configuration_example09186a008009413b.shtml but I am not able to set the IP for FastEthernet interface.
Can someone help me to configure the device as a bridge. Thanks in advance.
