As I understand it, under the old CCNP rules you had 36 months from the time you passed the first exam to when you had to have the last exam completed. I passed CCNP Route in OCT 2017 and I plan on completing CCNP Switch before Feb 2020. Is the 36 month rule still in effect to complete one of the concentration exams for the new CCNP Enterprise cert? Am I correct in assuming I would have to complete one of these new concentration exams before Oct 2020 to achieve my CCNP Enterprise?

Hey!
First of all - yes the 36 month rule is still valid.
Second, if you have CCNP ROUTE Exam and CCNP SWITCH Exam finished before Feburary 2020, you will receive the "Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core" Exam.
Only if you are fully CCNP R/S certified before Feb. 2020 - you will be CCNP Enterprise afterwards.
I hope this helps.
Best regards
Julian

Luis,
Thanks for your response. I have been all over this tool. It doesn't address timelines. My question still remains.

Julian,
Thanks for the response. That is what I figured. I was hoping for some relief on the 36 month rule as life has been busy. Oh well....
