Hello oevery one how to turn on 5 tuple on my nexus 9000?
checking here the result,
NX9(config)# show ip load-sharing
IPv4/IPv6 ECMP load sharing:
Universal-id (Random Seed): 782476374
Load-share mode : address source-destination port source-destination
GRE-Outer hash is disabled
Concatenation is disabled
Rotate: 32
read some article there told in your nexus already configured 5 tuple, but im not sure

gDay @Mlex1 also sick question my G! Now, from the show command result, ur N9000 is already using 5-tuple load-sharing, cause that’s what this line means: Load-share mode : address source-destination port source-destination..
And Its hashing based on source Ip, destination Ip, source port, dst port and protocol, which is the full 5 tuple (LOL the word Tuple makes me laugh always, or maybe this means that i need more coffee? ahahah anyway).
Sooo u dont need to turn anything on, cause its enabled by default unless someone changed the hash settings (which i havent seen that in action ever). And as i can remember u can use these commands to double check and or modify it: show hardware forwarding hash, and hardware forwarding mode ecmp ,,,,
SO U GOOD MY G! hope it helps and peaceee!

hello again @Mlex1 haha no worries, “sick question” was a compliment ( I use that word a lot).....
And yes! Here's the official Cisco documentation that confirms your 5-tuple load-sharing: From the "Cisco Nexus 9000 Series NX-OS Unicast Routing Configuration Guide" in the "Dynamic Load Balancing" section, it explicitly states:
The algorithm typically takes into consideration parameters such as the source and destination IP addresses, source and destination port numbers, and sometimes even the protocol type....
Ur current mode: Load-share mode : address source-destination port source-destination
...is exactly what Cisco describes as traditional ECMP using the 5-tuple (source/destination IP, source/destination ports, and protocol).
hope it helps and PEACE!
