Not able to bypass startup config using CONFREG on ASR-903 RSP2

Hi all,

I have an ASR-903 which will need to be repurposed. However its credentials are not known anymore and connecting to the console port and issuing the break command to get into rommon and using confreg 0x2142 is not working as after the reboot I keep getting presented with the login prompt.

I also tried entering confreg without any value and just going through all the options, but that also did not seem to resolve the issue as after a reboot I am again presented with a login prompt. 

I need to factory reset this unit and don't know how to proceed. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? How can I factory reset this unit without the correct credentials?

Have you tried to erease the startup conf file while in rommon mode?

Thanks for the quick reply. However I was able to bypass the login screen.

It appears that I may have been a little too quick with sending the break command.
