finally, I've just found a web page that there are some documents, which is contained the recommended threshold values.
but there is just only very simple sentense.
"below values' source are from "Cisco DCN"
Those documents are called " Cisco DCN"
That's all I have a information. TT
1. Where can i find documents in CISCO site saying ?
- WAN link should not exceed 70 percent utilization.
- Ethernet Utilization = 40%
- Token Ring & FDDI Utilization = 70%
- WAN Utilization = 70%
- response time = 100 ms
- segment per broadcast/multicast = 20%
- segment per CRC error = 1/1,000,000(byte)
- Ethernet Collision = pecket's 0.1 %
- Cisco Router CPU Utilization = 75%
- Output Queue Drop = 100 / hour
- Input Queue Drop = 50 / hour
- Buffer miss = 25 / hour
- Ignored Packet = 10 / hour
2. I need to send the above document/reference to customer. A reference from cisco will have weight to the customer.

Lim

Hi,
IMHO, "DCN" means "Designing Cisco Networks".
Which points to Cisco CCDA or CCDP courses.
And books like
http://www.ciscopress.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=1587051524
http://www.ciscopress.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=1587051850
http://www.ciscopress.com/bookstore/product.asp?isbn=1587200767
