not sure if that helps in your situation, but the 2950 switch has a ´Mode´ button, if you hold that button for 10 seconds, the switch configuration is reset to factory defaults.
If that doesn´t help, you can try and boot the switch manually and then get to the initital system configuration dialog, follow the link below and execute steps 1 thru 5, skip steps 6 thru 7, and at step 9, type Y(es) at the rompt, this is where you get asked if you want to enter the initial config dialog.
