Hi friends,

I have created a lab for LFA. Here I have been testing LFA on CSR-1 for 14.14.14.14/32 which is the loopback of XRv-14.

CSR-1 has been choosing CSR-2 primary (best) next hop for reaching to 14.14.14.14/32 and 123.0.0.2 (CSR-2 itself via LAV interface) as backup path.

Here CSR1 has 2 paths with same metric for backup path those are CSR2 and XRv13 and being considered CSR-2 as backup over LAN interface. My query is why did CSR-1 choose CSR-2 via LAN interface as backup path even though metric is same to XRv13 & CSR-2 via LAN interface? (Thumb rule of this selection?)
