Re: Other Routing

If PC3 has a default gateway of 10.0.0.1 and router 4 has a route for 10.0.0.0/24 with a next hop IP of 11.0.0.1 and there are no acls in place then yes.

Re: Other Routing

It will be dropped at R4.

Routing is a two way thing ie. just because there is a path one way does not mean there is a path back so when you troubleshoot routing issues you have to remember to trace the path both ways and check for routes to and from the destination.

Re: Other Routing

Okay...If I haven't configured a route to 10.0.0.0/8 in R4. And PC3 has a default gateway of 10.0.0.1 and no ACL. Where does the packet will be dropped, when I ping from PC3 to 11.0.0.2???
