PA not getting enabled

We have Cisco 7204VXR router with IOS version ?IOS (tm) 7200 Software (C7200-IK9SU2-M), Version 12.3(10a), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)?. We just inserted PA-MC-8E1/120 module. The router show the new interfaces in show version command but the enable light do not turn on.

Please advice if I am missing any step.

Show version output for hardware.

8 Channelized E1/PRI port(s) This is the one

1 Integrated service adapter(s)

125K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.

One more thing to add, previously 8 port BRI card was installed in the same port.

Do you see the ports if you do a show contollers

On many of these cards you must configure your channel groups before the interfaces appear but I never looked to see if the light is on before you configure the card

Yes, I see all the interfaces (controllers). May be you are right. Let me configure it and see.
