I am a beginner in working with Cisco devices, with a foundational understanding of networking principles. I have successfully configured basic setups, enabling communication between PCs and routers. Now, I am looking to refine my network design to suit a small business hotel environment.
The hotel consists of two guest rooms and seven to eight departments, including administrative offices, guest services, and a break room. My goal is to implement VLANs, subinterfaces, ACLs, and other essential configurations to ensure network segmentation, security, and efficient traffic management. Additionally, I aim to secure the hotel's infrastructure, including smart TVs and other connected devices, to protect against external threats while maintaining seamless connectivity for both guests and staff.
I would appreciate any feedback on my current setup and best practices for optimizing the network to meet the needs of a small business hotel.
