PBR question using WCCP redirects

Situation:

Currently we are using WCCP Redirects to point an entire subnet to a Riverbed device to optimize replication traffic. Recently we installed a Point to Point circuit to shift specific replication off of the WAN and onto this point to point.  The point to point has been installed on a switch that is connected to the cores over a port channel.  The P2P is configured with routed interfaces at each end.

Question:

Initial thought was to use Policy Based Routing to peel off the traffic we want to utilize the point to point circuit.  However, I am not sure if we could still utilized the WCCP redirects along with PBR to optimize the replication across the P2P.

I could really use some help figuring this one out.

It is not clear whether you are using layer 2 redirection or layer 3 redirection. And I am not clear how you would identify that traffic for PBR. If it is layer 3 redirection then I would think that a host specific static route for the address of the Riverbed with the point to point as next hop would be an effective solution.
