Ping issue

Hi Folks,

I just encountered a big question that needs your expertise.

Here is the diagram:

RT1 interface1 IP: 10.10.10.1                                 RT2 interface1 IP: 30.30.30.1                                 RT3 interface1 IP: 30.30.30.2

RT1 interface2 IP: 20.20.20.1                                 RT2 interface2 IP: 20.20.20.2

          (RT1)-----------------------------------------------------------------------(RT2)-----------------------------------------------------------------------(RT3)

ping 30.30.30.2 source 20.20.20.1: no packet drops.

ping 30.30.30.2 source 10.10.10.1: there are some packet drops.

Why is it the response is not the same though the origin of ping is on the same Router (RT1)?  Any idea? Is this IOS issue?

Hi, is the behavior is consistent? Would you able recreate it on other routers with same iOS?
