Ping issue

Hello Guys,

I'm having this problem with a Cisco device:

The interface

 

Interface Vlan3 "dmz", is up, line protocol is up

  Hardware is EtherSVI, BW 100 Mbps, DLY 100 usec

        MAC address 0007.7da7.54d6, MTU 1500

        IP address 10.40.18.8, subnet mask 255.255.255.224

 

The route

 

S    10.198.0.0 255.255.0.0 [1/0] via 10.40.18.1, dmz

 

The ping

ping 10.40.18.1

The traffic is sent to Kyndryl device (I guess), but we’ve got no reply.

Need more info; topology and gateway configuration.
