Possible Bonding Issue

I have two Point to Point T1's that we bond together via PPP Multilink.  Will this type of configuration add latency?  The site has been downgraded from a 45 Meg point to point to this 3 Meg Bonded connection and they are saying it is slower.  The bandwidth is not a problem they don't go over 50 percent.

Hi Tracy,

As long as the bondnig works fine ( with no errors/loss of pkts on the interfaces etc)- users should not have any issues. Although you mentioned users not using the more than 50% bw, but it appears to be the issue. Users were having 45Meg and came down to 3Meg - its a huge bandwidth downgrade. Just to make sure, do you have any baseline response times/traces when using DS3 (between end systems) to compare with current response times? How often the monitoring system collecting the 3Meg line usage (polling internval)?
