hello , i have a problem i implemented hsrp protocol in the two router we have fiber and when fiber goes down we switch to the anouther router by using hsrp it works fine when the link showing in the pic in red bcs the line goes down so the router standby change to active and works fine but the problem is when the link A goes down the interfaces between the link B stay up and hsrp will not work so can someone give an idea how to manage that without removing the switch between A and B and thank u

I do not understand what you are trying to describe. Perhaps it would be better if you post the configuration so that we could see some details. You show 2 serial links in red. I do not understand what is the relationship between these serial links and HSRP.
Your drawing does show 2 routers where the path between the routers goes through several switches. This architecture does create some potential problems. If the link between two switches goes down then several things will happen:
- when that link between 2 switches goes down then the HSRP packets stop going between the router.
- when the standby router stops hearing HSRP packets from the active router then the standby router transitions to the active state. But the active router is still active. So now you have 2 active routers.
- some devices in the network will be able to get to the first router but not the second router, while other devices in the network will be able to get to the second router but not to the first router.
- so each router will see only some of the devices in the network.
- the devices in network 10.98.16.0 will be able to access devices in 10.98.30.0 that are connected to 10.98.30.253 but not able to access devices that are connected to 10.98.30.254.
Are these the things that make HSRP not work? Or are there other issues making HSRP not work? If so then please explain them.

Hello Mohamed,
Greetings,
Please, explain in details, why did you use the HSRP? keeping in mind that the HSRP is used to provide a gateway high availability, so please let me know are you configuring the HSRP to make which stations "or which network" access which network through which gateway?
Also, if you can't explain in English, I can respond in Arabic as I am an Arabic speaker as well!
Thanks for sharing your problem and wishing to help you!
