psudowire connection

Hi all,

I have a psudowire connection between two data centers. When I connect my switch port on one end to a port on data center switch, should the link light come up even if other end is not connected? Assuming ports on one end of link are turned up.

If you connect your switch to the data center switch, as long as the data center switch and your switch are turned on and you are connecting using the correct media, optics and cable type, you should see a link light.
