Purpose of Package

Hi,

i need to free up my 2811 router memory.

so if i remove this package, it will cause impact or i will miss any functionality ?

Secure Desktop, I believe, is used in conjunction with SSL VPN and managing clients. If you're not using that, you can safely delete it.

Hi,

you may need to squeeze the flash to totally remove it.

router#squeeze bootflash:

another way to save space it to compress the running config.

router(config)service compress-config
