Hi,
Does anyone know about the limitation on ASR 1000 series RP1 with regard to maximum number of match statements per class-map?. I have more than 30 match statements under my class-maps but when I apply the service policy on the interface, I get the error "cannot configure more than 16 matching statements per class-map for the interface”.
I am running 3.1.0 S on an RP1. Any thoughts/pointers to overcome this issue?. Is it a hardware limitation just like the older Cisco 10Ks?
Thanks in Advance,
Dinesh

Hello Dinesh,
There is a limitation defined on the number of matching statements under a class-map .As per cisco, they don't see a requirement to have more than 16 matching statements under a class-map. Suggestion is to split your match statement unfortunately into pieces.
Thanks
Vivek
