Query on Public IP Advertisement

Hi All,

I have an IP pool from Hong Kong local ISP and i have advertised it in the singapore via Singapore(SG) ISP.

When i query for whois, it list the public IP details belong to HK. I have already initiated a procedure with APNIC to update this data base by changing it to Singapore.

While users are browsing via this public IP at SG, all the public websites are opening like HK (in chinese) etc..

Once APNIC update the Database, will this issue get resolved?

I am just curios where do all these public IP addresses get the location details

I am not fully sure it will resolve the issue.

Once after the IP is moved to SG region, all the public websites may start delivering content from its SG region server.

The issue should be caused due to the load balancing done based on the region. I mean it will start delivering the content from the nearest server and load balancer will locate the nearest server based on the source IP.
