Hi Ahmad,
Yes, your chassis does support 720-3C, but you need to make sure that your existing older line cards are compatible with this sup. You can just replace the sup and don't need to replace the chassis.
Make sure to copy the exiting config to a tftfp server before replacing it with the new one. After the replacement copy the config to the new Sup and watch for any abnormality. If everything looks good than you are good to go.
• Supervisor support - Cisco Catalyst 6500 Supervisor Engine 32 (WS-SUP32-GE-3B and WS-SUP32-10GE-3B), Cisco Catalyst 6500 Supervisor Engine 720 (WS-SUP720-3B and WS-SUP720-3BXL), and the new Cisco Route Switch Processor 720 (RSP720-3C and RSP720-3CXL)
HTH
Good Luck

Ahmad,
Even though the sups and the modules are hot swap able, since you have an outage window, turn off the switch, replace the sup and than turn it back on.
Good Luck
