RIP coverage

Hello everyone

I've a question.

Router A is connected to B

Router B is connected to C

Router C is connected to A

Using RIP i would like my router A to take route B to reach destination C

It should not use the obvious path A-C to reach C directly.

Static routing , access list and other routing protocols are not allowed.

How to achieve the result??

Thanks

Fahad

You can use an offset-list on router A interface to router C to increase the metric for updates received from router C.

This should cause router A to prefer router B to reach destinations connected to router C.

For more information on the offset-list, please refer to the following URL:

Hope this helps,
