We have a DMVPN architecture that can use several paths from the Spokes to the Hub, depending on the interface on ther spoke router. These can be in order of priority - so I want to use GigabitEthernet0/1 first, then (if that link fails) use GigabitEthernet0/2, and so on... I can configure it that if the interface itself dies use a backup, but what I'd like to do is have it fail if the DMVPN fails to establish i.e. for ome reason the remote Hub is unavailable (path to the hub may not always be up). I.E. If I am using GigabitEthernet0/2 to connect to an Ethernet-to-Serial modem locally, that link could be live - but if the modem can't establish a link then the remote IP would be unavailable, and I'd like the router to fail to the next choice. One other detail - the Hub is also a router - both are running 15.4(3)
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Brian
