Hello to all,
I do have query,
I wanted to know that is ther any LAYER-2 or any physical addressing scheme ora any identifier exist on serial link of cisco or any other vendor proptitary. So we can chek out the ARP on cisco routers connected by serial links only...

Dhavi,
You do have the concept of addressing such as DLCI when using frame-relay on serial links. However, apart from that, there is no real concept of "MAC"-like addresses for serial links. Since serial links are point-to-point, by definition, there is no need to identify the end-points; anything sent out on the serial link can have only one possible destination, the remote end.
