I received tons of this message.
%PIM-6-INVALID_RP_JOIN: Received (*,224.0.1.40) Join from
0.0.0.0 for invalid RP 10.0.1.1
How do I know which device is sending this if it is showing 0.0.0.0?
Also, I don't have "ip pim accept-rp" command on this router.
Please help. Thanks.

Hi Kevin,
You are probably running an IOS that does not have CSCei28317 fixed. (Please search in the bug toolkit.) This means that it is not reporting the correct source, but simply 0.0.0.0. One option is to upgrade to an IOS that has the fix for this, enabling you to see the source. Another option would be to use a Sniffer or debug IP packet against an ACL to try to pin it down. (Use caution with that last option.)
