Same BGP peer on multiple lines, same AS

bgp,Hey there,

 

Under which circumstances will I see multiple lines for same BGP peers/same AS under the show ip bgp all summary?

Hello JD,

check the BGP configuration on your router to see if you have defined two BGP sessions to the same neighbor in same AS but using a different update-source address.

 

To be noted you have two established sessions that have the same table version 15775193 but you receive only 662 prefixes on the first one and more prefixes  1771 on the other session like the other side is using route filtering on one session.
