I need to have my pc (in the vlan pc) communicate with a device that has a different ip than the vlan subnet.
I put a second ip 192.168.1.xxx on windows, but I still can't reach the device which is on 192.168.1.xxx in the same vlan.
Do you have any advice? Thank you

Is the windows has 2 Interface and you configured 2 IP address on same interface ?
you need to add Manual entry for the network 192.168.1.X to go next gateway, if not that will take defaul route of 1st IP address.
route add is the command in command leevel
Note : windows also has built FW, disable and try.

Hello,
I cannot figure out what your setup is. A PC with a secondary address ?
Post a schematic drawing of your topology, indicating which IP address on which device cannot reach which IP address on which other device.

I agree that the original post is not clear and would appreciate some clarification from the original poster. My interpretation is that there is a single vlan for PCs and that there are 2 different IP subnets in that vlan. While not common this can be supported on most platforms by configuring a secondary address on the vlan interface of the switch/router that does layer 3 routing for the vlan. If my interpretation is not correct then please clarify.
