Hi,
Could you attach the "show log" file to the case including the time the module was booting up?
Also, what was the upgrade about - HW/SW? and what was the old version?
Kind Regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan. i want to know the supervisor image can be affect sami module image?
06-24-2012 11:17 PM
Hi,
SAMI is supported since SRC and is compatible with SRE, so it should affect the module.
Kind Regards,
Ivan

i have one question. is it possible i put sami module to other slot??
06-25-2012 12:00 AM
Hi,
You can use any slot for SAMI, except for the supervisor slots 5 and 6. It can be helpful to test SAMI on other slot to see if the error follows the card or slot (e.g. if the card or chassis have HW failure). It is difficult to say anything on the reason the SAMI is down without the logs, though. I can check on those if you share the logs from the time of the issue or the logs from the time you insert SAMI on other slot (during its boot).
Note that SAMI does not support hot swapping. Do not remove the SAMI from the chassis until the module has shut down completely and the status LED is orange or off. If you remove the SAMI from the chassis before it completely shuts down, you can damage the SAMI.
Kind Regards,
Ivan

Ivan please help me to solve this issue.
thanks.

Hi Teymur,
Were you able to collect the "sh log" I have requested earlier? Please attach it to the thread, as for now the only symptoms we have is that card is not going out of the boot sequence on 2 different slots - could be HW issue but coujld also be a problem with boot configuration itself.
You may also want to try to boot it with old IOS image again (downgrade ISO version temporarily) to check if there is some unknown compatibility issue that we need to look deeper into.
Kind Regards,
Ivan
