Scheduler Interval on ASR 1000

Is there any best practice or benefit of configuring scheduler interval 500 on ASR 1000.

Its difficult to measure how this happens at a CPU level, but scheduler interval helps in low priority tasks getting noticed by the CPU as the high priority tasks can utilize the CPU to any extent.
