Setting up Pseudowire on Cisco ASR 1001-X, not supported

I need help from anyone who knows about setting up pseudowire on ASR 1001-X. I am trying to set up L2TPv3 on an ASR 1001X, the syntax to create this is not working on the ASR running image asr1001x-universalk9.03.16.02.S.155-3.S2-ext.SPA.bi

See Synatx am trying to use below and the XE does not support these syntax:

l2tp-class PE1CLASS

digest secret 0 CLASS

Pseudowire-class PE1LAB

encapsulation l2tpv3

protocol l2tpv3 PE1CLASS

ip local interface loopback 0

The interface does not support the x-connect

Also i tried setting up VPLS but still the syntax is not supported on the ASR 1001-XE

l2vpn vfi context PE

vpn id 100

neighbour 10.2.2.2 encapsulation mpls

I checked the feature navigator and the documentation. In the.3.16.0S release, the only one that supports the features you are after is in the release below:

asr1001x-universalk9.03.16.00.S.155-3.S-ext.SPA.bin

IP Base/Advanced IP Services/Advanced Enterprise Services

You might want to try and install that release, here is the link to the download page:

Thanks for your time and response Georg. As per your response, see the version am running on the ASR, isn't this higher than the one just recommended? Kindly clarify please:
