Stacking a 3750?

I have a 3750-48-TS-E and was thinking I would buy a matching PoE switch, but I can't seem to find one that is PoE that the MPN ends with an "E". Can I use StackWise on a 3750-48-TS-E & a 3750-48PS-S?

Yes.  Generally you can stack any 3750 with any other, although there are considerations.  For example, the two IOS version don't need to match, but if they don't they need to have compatible stack versions.  Feature sets also don't need to match, such as in your question, but if the stack member's "smarter" member fails the remaining member loses features.

During stack master elections, by default, member switches with a "better" feature set have preference over those that do not.

Thank you. I plan to update my 3750's IOS to the newest version anyways and if I get another switch, I will update it as well.

As for the ""smarter" member fails the remaining member loses features.", Would that mean I need to make the PoE switch the master and the non-PoE the slave?
