Hi

we have 2 lines. packets are not going through primary link.  I have configured EIGRP. it is working. but fail over is not working. I tried with static as below

static route for leased line is 172.20.103.0 255.255.255.0 172.20.255.65 ( have changed to dynamic route) (Primary Link)

static route for microwave is 172.20.103.0 255.255.255.0 172.20.49.20 254 (I gave with AD value) (Secondary Link)

once when I apply this second route, packet is  going through secondary link not through primary link. can you please tell what to do

If you have configured EIGRP and it is working, then I am surprised that failover is not working. EIGRP is usually very good about doing failover.

But your immediate question is about using static routes for failover. You have configured a primary static route and a floating static route for backup. But it seems that traffic is using the floating static route rather than the primary route. One thing that can cause this symptom is if there is an issue with the next hop of the primary static route. Can you post the output of show ip route 172.20.255.65
