SUP720-3BXL ECC Memory

i know that Sup720-3BXL has been used the SDRAM.

but i don't know that which of memory? using of ECC or plain memoy?
if use the plain SDRAM, how can prevent to parity error?

WS-SUP720-3BXL uses ECC protected DRAM for both the SP and the RP.  This memory will provide correction of single bit parity errors and detection of multibit errors.  If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
