sup720 6500 Firmware Update

How do you update the firmware on a Sup720 (WS-SUP720)? Is that possible or not? recommended? I have tried to look for documentation on cisco's website but have had no luck. Thank you.

EPLD B firmware upgrade occurs automatically when Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)XY is loaded on CMM the first time.
