T1 Crossover cabling and configuration

I want to build both routers that will connect a remote office at my site and verify my connectivity. I am trying to connect the T1 ports back-to-back with a crossover cable. Can someone tell me how to configure the serial ports?

And the crossover cable, what pins cross?

Routers are 2811 with built in CSU/DSU's the line wll be a point to point T1.

Thanks,

Jack

Hello,

With the cross over cable I built, I crossed pins 1 with 4 and 2 with 5.

As for special settings. Set one router to provide network timing and the other to derive the timing from the network.

That should be it as far as special settings go..

To add on,

Here is a good illustration.
