Anyone, we are currently building new connection to our GRE router. Basically what we want to accomplish is to connect our terminal server (router) to our GRE router to gain access to network A so that hosts from the vlan2 can gain access to devices/equipments from network A. We dont want traffic from network A to traverse to network B and vice versa. only allowed hosts from vlan can access the terminal server.

Can anyone teach me how to configure this kind of setup. How to configure terminal server. thanks,

A terminal or comm server commonly provides out-of-band access for multiple devices. A terminal server is a router with multiple, low speed, asynchronous ports that are connected to other serial devices, such as modems or console ports on routers or switches.

For information regarding how to configure the terminal or comm server, refer to Configuring a Terminal/Comm Server.
