Hi,
I have a requirement for one of our client. There are 2 services offered to the customers but terminating on the same router. We have 2 upstream connections and would like to use the upstream only for that particular service. Say Service1 should use Upstream1 and Service2 should use Upstream2.
How do the traffic between 2 services segregated in a single router.
I can think of couple of options:
a. Use VRF for one service and push the traffic to the upstream, let the other service use global table.
b. Use logical router and configure 2 logical routers in a single router.
Would like to know is there any other way or feature available to achieve the above requirement.
thanks

Hi Arun,
can you rephrase your question. it is not clear.. we can make use of PBR for the same i guess... coz unless you have overlapping network range why do you need two routing tables... i mean a global and vrf??

Hello Arun,
using VRFs should be enough
if your router is running IOS XR you can consider to use logical routers but it can be too much if the requirements is only of traffic segregation
Hope to help
