Traffic Shape Rate

Please provide a detailed explanation of the below command used in Frame relay circuit.

interface Serial0/1/0
mtu 2044
bandwidth 1984000
no ip address
no ip proxy-arp
encapsulation frame-relay IETF
no fair-queue
frame-relay lmi-type ansi

!

interface Serial0/1/0.21 point-to-point

bandwidth 128000

ip address 10.2.255.13 255.255.255.252

traffic-shape rate 256000 128000 128000 1000

traffic-shape adaptive 128000

This is Generic Traffic shaping  - GTS

AsI understand it, what you have posted is telling Serial0/1/0.21 to:

Rate all traffic at 256Kps and in case of congestion dont fall below 128kps ( adaptive)
