I got an interesting Problem:
I have to establish a Transparent QOS / Shaper Device with multiple Policies to deploy between our Datacenter LAN Edge and the VPN Distribution Layer.
It seems also that various Linux Distributions solved it easily.
Also there are many appliances like Riverbed or Packetshaper.
But i like to implement it on a 3845 or 3945 instead of another Server Box or appliance from a 3. Party:
My Idea is to bridge Between 2 Interfaces on the Router and Shape the Traffic - like i did on Physical or Tunnel interfaces in an routed environment.
Furthermore i like to have Multiple Policies regarding multiple Branch Offices.
Example Branch Offices 1-3:
2Mbit Traffic to Branch Office 1
Within that 2Mbit a max value of 50%for Printing
2Mbit Traffic to Branch Office 2
Within that 2Mbit a max value of 50%for CIFs
2Mbit Traffic to Branch Office 3
Within that 2Mbit a max value of 25%for CIFs
Within that 2Mbit a max value of 50%for Printing
Is it possible to reach this with the Router or not?
If the answer should be yes i like to know how exactly solve it.
